Josh Allen, the young starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills who helped the team clench the AFC east last season, has seen a steady increase in the value of his trading cards. Earlier this week, Goldin Auctions sold a 2018 Panini National Treasures Josh Allen card No. 163 for $312,000. What makes this card so special is the fact that it is a 1-of-1, was signed by Allen and came with a piece of Allen's jersey. The quality of this card also plays a factor in the price because of the Gem MT grade of 10.

If you follow card price trends, you would see that in 2018 this same National Treasures Josh Allen Rookie Patch Autographed card sold for $240,000. This represents a 76% increase in the last 4 years. More recently, the last previously reported sale of one of Josh Allen's cards was a Panini Prizm Gold Vinyl rookie card 1-of-5 that sold in January for $264,000.

It seems like new card records are being set almost every week. This shows the increasing interest associated with trading cards, and Josh Allen cards are the latest beneficiary of this trend!
