Dim Mak is a record label, events company, and lifestyle brand founded by Steve Aoki. They have done many collaborations with people across music, fashion, and culture and now their latest is with the Deadfellaz NFT collection. In the lead up to Halloween, Dim Mak and Deadfellaz will be launching a new line of limited edition products.
Deadfellaz NFTs are created with the artwork of 10,000 unique zombie characters and the entire brand universe and creative aesthetic for Deadfellaz is based around a spooky theme. This makes Deadfellaz a very much on-brand project for Halloween. The new Dim Mak x Deadfellaz collection includes skate decks, t-shirts, hoodies, and a custom varsity jacket. The jacket comes in black with lime green and electric green bands on the collar, waistband and the cuffs, and the t-shirts come in a variety of colors; black, orange, red, electric pink and electric blue.
Each of the items features a visual aesthetic taken from the Deadfellaz NFTs, including images of the Deadfellaz co-founders Betty and Psych and an image of Aoki in the style of a Deadfellaz character. Deadfellaz are also producing DEADZONE LA, a Halloween party that will be held in Los Angeles on October 29. The jackets will soon be available for sale after the launch but only to Deadfellaz NFT holders and A0k1verse members. Expect the whole collection to be available on the Deadfellaz and Dim Mak website from October 29, where you can also get event ticket information.
While Dim Mak has been around for decades and collaborated with many different brands, Deadfellaz is an NFT project that is just over a year old. They recently collaborated with Wrangler jeans, which we wrote about here at Neustreet, and also worked on projects with the Chicago Bulls and DraftKings. At this rate, it’s clear to see that Deadfellaz is growing their influence within pop culture.
