Nike SNKRS Korea Drops Exclusive Air Force 1 To Celebrate 5th Anniversary

To celebrate five years since the Nike SNKRS platform debut in South Korea, Nike is dropping a Korean take on the Air Force 1. Nike has previously payed homage to Korean culture with exclusive sneaker drops like the 2021 Dunk Low “Korea,” which featured the colors of the country’s flag, and the Air Jordan 3 “Seoul,” in 2018.

The new design is inspired by the country’s famous street food carts and their tents that protect them. It features a white and orange colorblocking scheme accented by kelly green and an off-white midsole. The heel features a fabric pull tab that acknowledges the tent covers and special Nike graphics that represent food cooked on the carts’ grills.

These Air Force 1s are expected to be available via SNKRS Exclusive Access on September 25, though the SNKRS Korea page has promised that those active on the app from September 9th through to the 21st will be more likely to access a pair. Buying the sneakers will also come with a storage container and a large beach towel with SNKRS branding.
