Nifty Gateway Creates NFT Storefronts

Nifty Gateway recently announced that it’s going to start allowing NFT projects to open Shopify-like storefronts on their site to sell NFT art. The program, called ‘Publishers,’ is still in beta.

Nifty Gateway, like all other NFT marketplaces, has experienced some troubles due to NFT sales dropping over the last few months. This new product might help encourage more artists to develop more enticing experiences on Nifty Gateway and hopefully generate more revenue both for the artists and the marketplace platform. The first 50 art curators of ‘Publishers’ are hand selected and will receive tools that allow art drops, a no-code minting dashboard, several payment options, a variety of drop types, and more.

As the product moves out of beta, Publishers will be available to a broader group of artists to start building out their own storefronts. It’s a move that has been compared to Shopify, the e-commerce platform that is used by hundreds of thousands of businesses around the world. Hopefully Publishers grows the number of artists using Nifty Gateway and the number of users coming to the marketplace.
