Victor Langlois, the teen NFT artist commonly known as Fewocious, recently set an all-time high secondary sale when his NFT masterpiece “The Sailor '' sold for a whopping 350 ETH. That is the equivalent of $595k in today’s market prices, at SuperRare.com. The Sailor is a half-morphed human face blended into a cartoonish one and the artwork itself contains so many intricate details that aren’t exactly obvious at first glance.
This is not Fewocious’ first record to smash. He was recognized as the youngest artist to ever be featured by Christie’s. His artwork is so popular that on the day of his “Hello I’m Victor” NFT auction, the buyers’ traffic crashed the Christie’s website. That shows how much craze there is out there for his artwork. As if that wasn’t enough, he also sold almost $19 Million of NFTs which was the third highest amount sold in the NFT marketplace, Nifty Gateway. Now his newest, “The Sailor”, has stolen the limelight by becoming the most expensive secondary sale on SuperRare, something that has definitely added another milestone in Fewocious’ artistic journey.
Being a renowned member of the growing community of queer crypto artists he is adding to the freshness, color and diversity of the NFT space. This could also be the contributing factor to art gaining a bright spot in the NFT community.
