Drake Pulls Rare Basketball Card

Drake may have found a new obsession; the rapper has a growing excitement for the world of sports trading cards. Drake has been on the Hunt for one of the rarest cards available in Panini Flawless Packs. He has done two unboxing videos that he has posted to Instagram in the last few weeks. While looking for the extremely rare Triple Logoman cards, Drake stumbles upon another hidden gem. Could this be the start of a new hobby for the rapper?

For the second time in the last month, Drake has shared his new passion of sports trading cards on to his Instagram. This new hobby became public knowledge when on March 15th he posted a picture to his Instagram story showing 14 NBA Panini Flawless Trading card boxes. Drake captioned the photo with “on a triple logo man hunt,” referring to the Triple Logoman Cards that contain three NBA logo tags from players jerseys. It is believed that only five of these cards actually exist.

Earlier this week, Drake continued his pursuit for these rare cards during an Instagram live event with Goldin Auctions founder Ken Goldin where he live streamed the unboxing of 10 more Flawless Basketball card packs. Although drake didn’t find any Triple Logoman cards in this unboxing, he managed to come across another extremely rare card; an ultra-rare 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie Card.

Earlier this year in February, Goldin Auctions sold 2 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie cards with a Gem Mint PSA 10 grade for an impressive $738,000 USD. Nobody knows if Drake Plans to sell or keep this card. Because this is seems to be a new hobby for Drake, he'll most likely keep this card and start his collection. Aside from the one ultra rare card he pulled, he also found 5 more Jordan cards including 2 regular rookie cards, and 3 rookie sticker cards.
